Brief Introduction to Korigad -
Korigad is situated about 20 km away from Lonavala in Pune District. It is built near the Savashni Ghat, which connects Lonavla and Pali. This Fort is well known for its intact fortification and most interesting part is that its wall is completely intact and one can walk along its entire perimeter(about 2 km).
Korigad appears like a wall from Peth. On the top of the fort is a huge plateau.There are two large ponds on this fort and ahead of them are two caves. Here we can
see
the idol of lord Vishnu holding the Conch, Discus, Mace and Lotus
flower. Beautiful view of Tung, Tikona, Matheran, Prabalgad, Karnala
and Manikgad ranges mesmerizes all the trekkers from the top of the
fort.

-A haversack to carry all these things.
